Hester is involved in the day to day operations and governance of MySAS, leading investments through the due diligence, investment and approval phases through to completion. Hester was a Division Director in Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) for over 16 years, before taking over a new role as Chief Operating Officer of MySAS from August 2021.

Hester took on the role of Chief Operating Officer of MySAS from August 2021, having been a Division Director in Macquarie Asset Management.

Hester has over 16 years’ experience in financial services, legal advice and transaction management. In 2017 she transferred her skill set and capabilities to establish the new SDA business, financing disability accommodation in Australia.

Hester had a previous role within Macquarie as a MAM business-aligned lawyer leading internal restructures and successful wind ups with extensive experience managing retail structured products.

In addition to her professional role, Hester is a committee member of Wheelchair Sports NSW ACT. Hester was also a founding member for Bayside Women’s Shelter which provides crisis accommodation for women and their children. She is also a co-author of the Being Brave series, middle grade novels for young women.
